Canon Switzerlands „New Ways of Working“ initiative leads their way to FlexOffice Berne
FlexOffice Berne is the new home of the Canon Business Center (CBC) – a strategic decision made by Canon to provide the best possible flexible, individual, and responsable work conditions for their employees in Switzerland.
Canon is a global leader in the fields of professional and consumer imaging equipment and information systems. The Swiss division of Canon recently moved into the newly extended FlexOffice spaces in Berne Murifeld, as part of Canon’s forward-thinking employee empowerment initiative”New Ways of Working” (NWOW).
So far, we consistently received only positive feedback from our staff. The FlexOffice spaces are modern, the working environment bears interesting and inspiring encounters due to the interesting mixture for the FlexOffice business community“ says Michael Trefzer, Regional Sales Manager at Canon.
NWOW is a one-year pilot project, where Canon collects data and experiences by its staff, evaluating the NWOW environment and it’s impact on employee satisfaction.
Markus Naegeli, CEO of Canon (Switzerland) AG, is also delighted: “Our NWOW pioneers in Berne are able to work in a lively atmosphere within a high-quality office set-up, that empowers everyone to manage a flexible work life according to his:her own needs.”
“The Canon team is an enrichment for our location and our network in Berne. FlexOffice sees itself as a partner for the transformation into a new working world: If companies share space with other companies, they automatically become open to new things and this has tremendous potential to spark inspiring and unexpected encounters. Corporations interact and connect with smaller companies and start-ups – that’s exactly our goal.” Mathis Hasler, Co-Founder FlexOffice.
